A 42-year-old Punchbowl woman was arrested Friday after she restrained a 26-year-old man as he was assaulted by two other people, police said.
The woman was arrested at her home about 6:30 p.m. Friday for investigation of kidnapping, abuse of a family member, and terroristic threatening.
Police said the woman choked the man and restrained him while he was beaten by a 19-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man between 3:20 and 6:33 p.m. Friday.
Police said the whereabouts of the two other suspects were unknown.
