Missing work furlough inmate turns himself in at OCCC
A 31-year-old missing work furlough program inmate turned himself in at 1:40 p.m. today at the Oahu Community Correctional Center.
Lewellyn Foster failed to return 4 p.m. Sunday from a work furlough day pass issued that morning.
Foster was serving time for second-degree theft and burglary. He was arrested on suspicion of second-degree escape.
His next parole hearing was scheduled for December.
Foster is classified as community custody, the lowest custody level.
