No. 8 Hawaii sweeps Cal Poly for 20th straight

Junior hitter Nikki Taylor put down 15 kills and senior middle Olivia Magill added 12 as No. 8 Hawaii swept Cal Poly 25-17, 25-19, 25-18 in a Big West volleyball match Thursday night in San Luis Obispo, Calif.

It was the 20th consecutive victory for the Rainbow Wahine (25-1, 15-0), who outblocked the Mustangs 20-9. Raeann Grisen led Cal Poly (19-7, 11-4) with eight kills.

Hawaii goes for its 16th undefeated conference season when concluding league play Saturday at UC Santa Barbara.
