Police arrest Waikiki man in Pearl City hit-and-run
Police arrested a 21-year-old Waikiki man who allegedly struck a woman pedestrian with a vehicle in Pearl City Saturday.
Officers arrested the suspect at the main police station at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
They had been looking for him since Saturday night, when a 21-year-old woman, who said she knows the suspect, was struck by the vehicle, and fell and hit her head on the ground about 9 p.m., police said. The suspect fle the scene.
An Emergency Medical Services report said the woman was taken in stable condition to a hospital from an address on 3rd Street.
