Police looking for suspect in massage parlor robbery
Honolulu police are looking for a man and a woman who held up a massage parlor in the McCully area Friday evening.
Police said the man brandished what appeared to be a handgun and demanded money from a 67-year-old woman at the unidentified massage parlor at about 6:20 p.m.
The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police did not release a description of the suspect nor give an exact location of the incident.

Robbers now know to rob the cash only businesses such as massage parlors, asian restaurants, any asian-owned business because they all know these are cash only operations. With a far less likelihood of sophisticated security systems, cameras or even rudimentary alarm systems, the smart criminals are evolving and robbing the cash-only businesses. I think only the dumbest criminals are still robbing banks and other financial institutions. This is unfortunate because these small businesses are the ones working hardest to survive.

Actually no…for the same reasons sited (use of cash only) I’ve noticed at many eateries where there IS A CAMERA. You might just not notice it unless you look for it. Security cameras are cheap at COSTCO and easy to set up and use. Also, cameras frequently posted at door to see faces as they come and go
