Aide had sex with teen she’d known since preschool, police say
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. » A 45-year-old teacher’s aide has been accused of carrying on a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old boy that she once taught in preschool.
The Connecticut Post reports Kyle Damato-Kushel was arraigned Monday on charges of sexual assault, impairing the morals of a child and tampering with a witness. She didn’t enter a plea.
Police say the victim told officers he had been having sex with Damato-Kushel since the summer of 2013, when he was in seventh grade. The victim allegedly got Damato-Kushel pregnant at one point but she had a miscarriage.
Police say Damato-Kushel’s DNA was found in the boy’s underwear. They say the former aide at Wooster Middle School in Fairfield County offered the victim $900 if he didn’t reveal their relationship.
Damato-Kushel declined comment as she left the courthouse.

Scary, when over-sexed woman work in environment where young and innocent young individuals are abundant. When I went to high school in the early 40’s such incidents seldom if ever occurred. Darn it?
Are you sure? Maybe you just didn’t hear about it. Just like you probably didn’t hear about priests molesting kids back then but it still happened. You have to remember the media and the information we receive on a daily basis is far different than when you were going to school.
What did you expect from a woman who has to look at his big bulge all day long. Something has to give.

Lucky insofar as what? That he was used by a sexual predator? That, at 14, he didn’t become a father? Or, that the situation was finally exposed and the child won’t be subjected to predation anymore?
