Two people were killed in a three-car accident today on Highway 130 on Hawaii island, a police department spokeswoman said.
No additional information about the accident was available.
Hawaii County police shut down Highway 130 in both directions at the Keaau transfer station shortly after 2 p.m. Police are advising motorists to use the Road 8/Ainaloa Boulevard emergency access route until further notice.
