Pair charged in Kapolei shooting to be arraigned
An 21-year-old Ewa Beach man and a 19-year-old Kapolei woman will be arraigned in District Court this morning after they allegedly were in a drive-by shooting that endangered two 18-year-old men in Kapolei Friday afternoon.
Kahamaiokumoae Ahsing, 21; and Kiani K. Hayghe, 19, were charged Sunday with first-degree terroristic threatening. Ahsing also was charged with first-degree reckless endangering. Ball for the two was set at $100,000 each.
Hayghe was driving a car while Ahsing fired several shots at a moving vehicle with two passengers, both 18, inside.
The pair was initially arrested early Saturday on suspicion of attempted murder in the first degree.
The suspects allegedly threatened two men at 5:40 p.m. Friday near Ahsing’s Ewa Beach home.

Pair of what? Dumb and dumber?
Hire back the proofreader.
“Bail” for “ball” ??
No mention of a shooting or even brandishing a weapon anywhere in the story. The incident happened Friday, so it’s not like details aren’t available. Mighty sloppy reportage.
What are you going to do with the information if we gave it to you?
This Milleniall thought that he is invincible.
Surprised they weren’t “released pending investigation” as usual. Oh, it’s an election year for Kaneshiro. Yes very sloppy reporting by SA, their copy writers are in India so they don’t get all the info. (saves money though)
The question is how and where did these two individual obtain the gun used? Would background checks and gun registrations have prevented this situation. Mental state can change anytime; background check would have been invalid.

I take it you get all your information from the first 10 minutes of the evening news and by reading headlines in the SA. Just keep in mind perception is often very different than reality.
Hawaii will always be at the very bottom.
