2 Kapolei men arrested in assault, threat case
Two Kapolei men were arrested Tuesday for allegedly threatening another man.
Police said a 26-year-old man threatened a 31-year-old man at a Puanohu Place home just before 11 a.m.
A second man, 64, who also lives at the Puanohu Place home, then struck the 31-year-old victim on the head.
The 26-year-old suspect was arrested at the scene for first-degree terroristic threatening.
The 64-year-old suspect fled, but later turned himself in at the Kapolei police station an hour later. He was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault.
Both suspects were released pending further investigation. Police did not say what type of weapon was used.
