Swimmers pull unresponsive woman from waters off Waikiki
Swimmers near the lagoon at the Hilton Hawaiian Village hotel pulled an unresponsive woman out of the water Monday and administered CPR.
The incident happened about 4:20 p.m., according to an Emergency Medical Services report.
Paramedics arrived and continued CPR on the woman, believed to be in her 40s. She regained a pulse and was taken to an area hospital in serious condition, EMS said.

In our embryonic development there is a phase where we have gills … you know … “ontogeny recapitulates phylogeny” … too bad we cannot tinker with the genes and find a way to make them functional in adulthood.
