When one is closely associated with an emergency, one sees all the reasoning behind the time taken by first responders. The safety of the involved is of utmost importance. Yesterday at about 3:00 PM, as I walked through the revamped Aina Haina Shopping Center near The Foodland Farms, I saw a man in his 50s reacting very strangely, staggering. He had blood shot eyes and was drooling on one side. It turned out he had a stroke and the 911 personnel took him to a hospital. Moral of the story: the safety of the public is the utmost, so the closing of the Circuit Court was justified, as no water meant no normal activity that required water.
agree but one can see how desperately outdated and corroded our infrastructure is. Scary future for this city.
