Investigators look into cause of Maui brush fire
Maui fire investigators are trying to determine the cause of an early morning brush fire that burned two acres in Olowalu.
The fire was reported at 3:29 a.m. at milepost 14 near Lonely Pine on Honoapiilani Highway.
West Maui Land Company was called, and assisted with a loader to clear blocked roads and a water tanker to assist with firefighting operations.
Firefighters will continue to tend to hot spots located within the perimeter of the fire today.
