Sprinkler helps contain Laundromat fire in Waimanalo
Firefighters are investigating the cause of a small fire that damaged a Waimanalo Laundromat tonight.
The fire started about 6 p.m. at Waimanalo Laundry Services on Kalanianaole Highway and was contained by a fire sprinkler to an area behind a propane supplied dryer.
Firefighters shut off the propane supply and extinguished the fire about 6:15 p.m. The fire caused about $5,000 to the structure and contents.
