Fire rescue personnel were summoned this morning to help two men when the outrigger of their canoe broke outside the breakers at Waikiki Beach near the Elks Club.
Firefighters got the call for help at 6:40 a.m. Fire rescue personnel on personal watercrafts brought the two paddlers to shore.
The fire department’s rescue boat towed the canoe to the beach at the Outrigger Club.
No injures were reported.
