The death of a 62-year-old woman March 31 by gunshot to the head was determined to be self-inflicted, Hawaii County police said.

Marsha Mansker was found unresponsive at her Kailua-Kona home in the Kona Highlands subdivision.

Police arrested her husband at the scene on suspicion of second-degree murder and released him the following day, pending further investigation.

Police released the autopsy results today revealing the manner of her death as a suicide.
