Surveillance video leads to arrest of Kailua burglary suspect
A 21-year-old Kailua man was caught on surveillance video taking items from an area restaurant after it had closed last week.
Police said the owner of the restaurant recognized the suspect after viewing restaurant surveillance video. The incident occurred at 10 p.m. Friday.
The suspect was arrested Tuesday near Kailua District Park on suspicion of second-degree burglary.
