Bill Maher returning to isles to ring in 2017
Bill Maher is coming back to the islands this New Year’s Eve.
For the first time, comics Margaret Cho and David Cross will join the host of HBO’s “Real Time” on Dec. 31 at the Blaisdell Concert Hall and Jan. 1 at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center.
Special kama‘aina pre-sale tickets to “Bill Maher’s 6th Annual New Year’s All-Star Evening of Comedy with Bill Maher, Margaret Cho & David Cross” go on sale at 10 a.m. on Monday.
Tickets will be made available to the general public on Saturday at 10 a.m.
Maher’s promise to be the “Don Ho of New Year’s” has led to sold-out shows for the past five years.
Maher began his career more than 20 years ago as a stand-up comedian and isn’t known to hold back on political talk.

Actress and comedienne Cho has sold out comedy tours, while stand-up comedian Cross has been known for his comedy specials.

Love Bill, but can’t go on New Year’s Eve because I’m with family like 90% of people in Hawaii. Wish he could do a second date in Honolulu away from the holidays!
This guy will be right at home with all the left-wing loons in Hawaii.
