‘Sons of Halawa’

Director Matt Yamashita’s documentary shares the story of Pilipo Solatorio, a Halawa Valley-born man who, since the age of 5, has been deemed the family cultural practitioner, responsiblefor perpetuating the cultural traditions, music and stories of his isolated Molokai community.
