Man, 23, injured in vehicle-boulder collision on Pali Highway
A 23-year-old man was in serious condition early this afternoon after his vehicle struck a boulder or boulders on Pali Highway and flipped over, according to an Emergency Medical Services report.
The single-vehicle accident occurred at about 12:10 p.m. in the Kailua-bound lanes, according to the report. Paramedics treated the man at the scene and transported him to an emergency room.

IRT “…vehicle struck a boulder or boulders. The State did a rock fall study in 2002 and only one of the high potential sites has been addressed. the rock overhang at Waimea Valley is way over due to yield to Newtons persuasion … made riskier in rainy weather.
