Autopsy: Pulse shooter Omar Mateen shot 8 times

ORLANDO, Fla. » Pulse nightclub shooter Omar Mateen was struck eight times by bullets fired by police, according to a recently released autopsy report.
The Orlando Sentinel obtained Mateen’s autopsy report by the Orange County Medical Examiner’s Office today. The report reveals the details behind the shooting death of Mateen after he shot more than 100 people at the Pulse nightclub June 12, killing 49.
In their response, police shot Mateen eight times — with bullets striking him in the head, chest, abdomen, calf and feet. He also suffered several lacerations, as well as “blunt force injuries” to his torso, according to the report.
The areas surrounding his gunshot wounds did not have “stippling, soot or muzzle imprints,” suggesting he was shot at long range, according to the autopsy.
His injuries also suggest he was shot while facing police.
Police have said 13 SWAT members engaged Mateen in gunfire after they breached a back wall of the club around 5:14 a.m. He was killed shortly after.
The autopsy indicates Mateen was sober of alcohol and illicit drugs the night of the shooting. Anabolic steroids, however, were detected in his urine.

Did you see those multiple holes in the cinderblock walls? They were made by battering rams attached to heavy vehicles. Many lives were saved because the holes enabled them to escape though solid walls. The perp exited the same holes to fight the SWAT teams. What if they didm’t have such a ram? Tell Obama NOT to interfere with the Army’s donations of surplus weapons of war to the police forces all over the USA. They need all the help they can get.
