Kunia road is getting more and more crowded, and the lack of highway upgrades leads to more accidents. Hawaii DOT doesn’t seem to have done anything of significance anywhere on the island to ease growth of traffic and overcrowding. Planning for the future of Oahu doesn’t seem be their priority. I imagine the DOT is full of aging union do-nothings who are past their prime, and come to work only to maximize their retirement benefits and count the days toward collecting their taxpayer-paid pensions.

Kunia Road is well traveled and moves well most of the time. It’s the crazy drivers that make it dangerous.
