Police seek to ID hungry, thirsty theft suspect
Honolulu police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a thirsty thief.
Police said the suspect entered a home on Kaikunane Loop near the Kamehameha Shopping Center in Kapalama and raided the resident’s refrigerator, taking food and drink and leaving with a half-gallon carton of grape juice at about 4 p.m. on Aug. 4.
Police released a security camera image of the suspect Thursday showing the woman wearing blue jeans, red top and white sneakers and carrying the carton of juice

That’s a woman? Looks more like a tranny.
Seems like you are an authority on seeking out the “tranny” type. Maybe we all should defer to your expertise in the matter….
Lol, HRS134, I agree.
Looks to resemble a Micro to me. Idk
The person has enough to eat that is for sure. Nuthin micro about that belly:)
Looks like she is eating for two.
Aug. 4 – and only now we see the photo.
Do ya think dat de alleged thief may have changed clothes by now?
She’s overeating and drinking (milk, etc.).
Aug 4th? Way to go HPD…getting right on the case. With so many of HPD’s “finest” on desk duty I’m sure at least one of them, when he/she wakes up can go through mugshots.
Aug 4th – this year?
What’s the red stuff on her face? Did she get into the jam also?
SA in it’s quest for sensationalism is over dramatizing the story once again. It’s grape drink, not grape juice.
wtf is that in the picture…
There really should be a section in the newspaper for this kind of thing. A police blotter that us updated regularly should be posted to alert the community of criminals that have been recorded on camera. This case is a glaring example of why we need one. This event occurred in August. By now this alleged burglar may have left for the mainland. Or worse, this burglar may have gone on to victimize more in the community. Our newspaper needs to evolve with the times when video cameras are now common and should be used by the newspaper as a public service to help protect the community from criminals. Police reports on criminals that have not been caught walking the streets are certainly more important than full blown stories about new restaurants. We need to be more active in the protecting of our community and the newspaper can be a more vital part in this equation. I would rather see more reports that call on the community to assist in locating criminals than reports on a new fancy restaurant which most of our readership will probably never ever visit. Those are just free advertising for these restaurants. Not a cut on the restaurants but just saying.
Totally agree. There should be a section for assisting the police with identifying suspects that are captured on camera. I would a,so add that the tv news should also do its part by alerting viewers of unsolved or ongoing criminal investigations.
She doesn’t have to steal. Guys would just give her things if she has a certain physical appearance. Society is to blame.
