Police released this security camera image of a suspect who broke into a vehicle and took items on Piikoi Street on Oct. 25.

Honolulu police released security camera video of a man breaking into a parked vehicle in Makiki in hopes of identifying the suspect.

Police said the man, wearing a dark T-shirt, shorts and black sneakers, with a shaved head, entered a vehicle parked on Piikoi Street, removed several items and fled in an unknown direction at 4:36 a.m. on Oct. 25.

The videos show the man breaking into the vehicle, apparently setting off a car alarm. As the truck’s lights flash, the man enters the truck, apparently removes items, and leaves .

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call police at 529-3111 or CrimeStoppers at 955-8300.

    All these low life thieves are really du*mb. Don’t they know that there are video cameras everywhere these days?

    For gods sake, why is the face of the thief blurred out on the secuirty video when they want the public to help identify the thief?? That is a serious question cause that makes no dang sense. Not even if this video is used in trial, jurors can be asked if even if they saw the face on the video, can they be fair in finding the plaintiff innocent or guilty or just exclude all people on the jury who have seen the suveillance video.
