So if the guy allegedly did not do it, did the pole do it by itself without human intervention? I mean I have seen some freaking things in Manoa – one never knows.
homeless crime against the public is way up
And how did you determine he was homeless instead of just insane?
Was it a long bamboo pole? If so, maybe it was Ip Man.
Dont quit your day job.
Maybe guy #1 (man with pole) was picking mango’s (wait not mango season), ok maybe avocados, and the pole slipped. Nothing bad ever happens in Manoa.
I believe you may be referring to the individual that used to patrol up and down Harding Avenue with a long bamboo fruit picking pole? I saw him several times looking into yards (having no fruit bearing trees). HPD notified and I presume they interviewed the individual. Just saying…
When I read the headline, I thought the man got arrested for punching a telephone pole.
Hey it could be worst…you could be reading an editorial article written by the so called journalists on the Civil Beat. I do want to emphasize the editorial (opinioniated) slant versus news reporting.
wn: that is what an editorial is…opinion.
I may not agree with everything they write, but they are good writers.
