Armed robbers hit convenience stores in Kakaako, Maili
Honolulu police are investigating a possible armed robbery at the Kakaako 7-Eleven early today.
At about 4 a.m., the suspect displayed a gun to a clerk at the convenience store, which is located on the corner of South and Queen streets next to the FedEx Office Print & Ship Center, police said.
Yellow tape stretched across the entrance of the 7-Eleven as police continued their investigation.

Another robbery occurred at a convenience store in Maili early yesterday. Police said two suspects entered the store at about 3:35 a.m. armed with a firearm. After a gun was fired, the suspects fled with multiple items.
Police said no injuries were reported in the Maili robbery. There are no arrests at this time and police are continuing their investigation.

It’s convenient to rob a convenience store; in and out, make it quick.
Commonly called “Stop & Rob” on the mainland.
But the max you get is $100 and a few packs of cigs. In return the state spends big bucks on your free lawyer and you cop a plea and get probation. Then the cycle repeats.
Just like when I was a kid catching talapia at the river. Catch and release, come back the next day and repeat the process.
1) All convenience stores should offer free coffee to police officers so that they will come around more ofter and w/o advanced warning 2) pls blow away these thieves 3) the stores post the photos of these thieves in the stores 4) offer a 10X the amount stolen as a reward 5) we need to take out the trash people–bury these thieves
