5 injured in crash near Mililani Middle School

Five people were injured — one critically — after a truck rear-ended a family in a car Friday night in Mililani Mauka.

The unrestrained driver of the truck, age 24, had face and head injuries and was taken to a hospital in critical condition, an Emergency Medical Services report said.

In the car, a 50-year-old man, a 52-year-old woman, and two girls, ages 9 and 13, were wearing seat belts and reported neck, back, or chest pains. They were each taken to a hospital in serious condition, the report said.

The crash happened about 10 p.m. on Lehiwa Drive near Mililani Middle School.

HNN reported that witnesses say it appears to be the 24-year-old driver of the truck rear ended the car intentionally, because he kept accelerating his truck until the car hit a tree. Road rage? Nuts drivers out there. Hope the ohana in the car have a full and speedy recovery from their injuries. The 24-year-old was arrested. Rot in jail.

Rear-ended the car 3 times forcing it off the road into a tree. 4 counts attempted murder, brah, hopefully you spend decades in prison, but, our judges going let you out in a couple. SAD…
