Hawaiian Airlines cancels today’s Honolulu-New York flights due to storm
Hawaiian Airlines canceled today’s flights in both directions between Honolulu and John F. Kennedy Airport in New York due to Winter Storm Stella.
The airline said it is attempting to contact and re-accommodate customers on all canceled flights.
Hawaiian also said it will waive reservation change fees and differences in fares for customers traveling to, from or via JFK through Wednesday. Changes must be made prior to the original departure date for new flights departing on or before Friday.
The airline said all change fees and applicable fare differences will be waived provided that original flights were ticketed on or before Sunday. Changes must be made in the same class of service (such as coach to coach or first to first) and are based on seat availability and subject to restrictions.
Changes must be made through Hawaiian’s reservations department or at the airport. Customers needing assistance should call Hawaiian’s reservations desk at 1-800-367-5320 or monitor the airlines’ website, HawaiianAirlines.com, for updates.
