>> HomeAid Hawaii was incorrectly described in a Tuesday story on Page B1. The nonprofit assists with building or renovating facilities to help the homeless.

>> A Caldwell administration proposal should help those with properties valued at $1 million to $1.5 million to pay less in taxes, but those with properties valued at more than $1.5 million will pay more, city officials said. A story on Page B1 Monday included incorrect numbers.

>> Barbara Kawakami, author of “Picture Bride Stories,” will speak about the subject and sign copies of her book at the Hawaii Japanese Center in Hilo, 751 Kanoe­lehua Ave., from 2 to 3 p.m. April 1. A story on Page 27 of the Sunday magazine gave an incorrect time and location.
