LAS VEGAS >> Trust was the word a prosecutor used to open trial in Las Vegas for a suspended medical doctor accused of drugging women and patients, and videotaping himself having sex with them.

Prosecutor Alexander Chen told a jury that Binh Minh “Ben” Chung disrespected and ignored the love and trust he had as a husband, father, friend and physician.

Chen showed photos from graphic videos Chung is accused of making, and said Chung’s ex-wife and former friends will testify against him.

The 43-year-old Chung sat impassively and defense attorney Betsy Allen didn’t deny what she called daunting and inflammatory charges.

She asked the jury to listen to whether the state proves its case.

Chung has pleaded not guilty to 14 charges including sexual assault, kidnapping, administering a drug to aid commission of a felony and lewdness.
