>> U.S. Sen. Mazie Hirono of Hawaii is one of three Asian-American women in the Senate, along with Sen. Tammy Duckworth of Illinois and Sen. Kamala Harris of California. A Page A1 story Wednesday said Hirono is the only Asian-American woman in the Senate.

>> A photo of Gregg Yamauchi was misidentified as Craig Lovett, who was recently hired as vice president of development by Trinity Investments, in “On the Move” on Page B4 Wednesday. Lovett’s correct photo is shown here.

>> Mayor Kirk Caldwell and his wife paid $100 in city property tax in 2006, not $6,818 as reported in the May 7 “Volcanic Ash” column on Page A2. All but $100 of the $6,818 tax assessment on their Manoa home was credited back after they were approved that year for a historic homes exemption, which they claimed through 2011.
