Maui’s Kendall Grove is returning to the cage after a TKO loss seven months ago.

Grove will fight John Salter in a middleweight match at Bellator 181 at WinStar Resort & Casino in Thackerville, Okla.

A Bellator official confirmed the July 14 bout today, which will be the first for Grove since a second-round TKO loss to Alexander Shlemenko in October.

Grove (23-16, 4-3 Bellator), a former Ultimate Fighter reality show season winner in the UFC, had a fight against Mike Rhodes in March called off when Rhodes failed to make weight and a catchweight agreement could not be agreed upon.

The July event, which will be broadcast tape delayed in Hawaii on Spike TV, will be headlined by a lightweight fight between Derek Campos and Patricky “Pitbull” Freire.
