4-year-old girl from Maili treated for burns, injuries
A 4-year-old girl with burns and injuries was transported today from Maili to a hospital for treatment.
The child was taken to the Kapiolani Women’s and Children’s Hospital, where she was treated and later released, police said.
Police, in a written bulletin, said the assault occurred between 4 p.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday.
Police have opened a second-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a minor case.
Police said the suspect is unknown. No further details were available.
