Man arrested in connection with Kalihi gas station fire

Police arrested a 25-year-old man today for allegedly setting fire at a gas station in Kalihi.

Police said the man tried to set fire at 6:30 a.m. to the gasoline tanks at a gas station.

He was arrested at 6:55 a.m. on suspicion of first-degree arson, criminal contempt and fourth-degree theft.

Police made the arrest at the gas station located at 743 N. King St.
