Hanauma Bay will re-open Saturday after the city closed it today because of a sewer pump failure.
City officials announced the closure just after noon when a blown HECO fuse affected a sewer pump. Repairs are being made to facilities. The commercial parking lot will also be open Saturday.
This afternoon’s closure affected all Hanauma Bay facilities, including the visitor center.
