Man arrested after car break-in in Kailua
Police arrested a 25-year-old man after he allegedly attempted to steal items from a woman’s vehicle in Kailua.
Just after 1 a.m. Sunday, police said the suspect entered a carport at a Kailua residence and removed items belonging to a 55-year-old woman.
Police arrived shortly afterward and arrested him. When they searched the suspect, police allegedly found illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia in his possession.
The 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle in the first degree, promoting a dangerous drug in the third degree and drug paraphernalia.
