Electrical work to close 1 lane of Likelike
One lane of Likelike Highway will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday as contractors for Hawaiian Electric replace power transmission equipment in the Kaneohe area.
The right, Kaneohe-bound lane of Likelike Highway will be closed for a quarter mile after the juncture of the H-3 exit ramp. Traffic control measures will be used to direct traffic flow from the H-3 exit and on Likelike Highway in the work area.
The work on Thursday is part of a project that will take about four weeks to complete and require the daily use of a helicopter between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. seven days a week. No other lane closures are anticipated during the four-week project.
