Waikiki woman assaults roommate, police say
A 55-year-old woman was arrested Friday night after she beat her 75-year-old female roommate in Waikiki, police said.
The woman repeatedly struck the older woman with a metal broom at about 9:30 p.m. Friday, causing the older woman bodily injury, police said.
The 55-year-old woman was arrested shortly afterwards on suspicion of second-degree assault.
