    Craftsmen draw faces on dog-shaped clay bells at the Musashinojindaiji-gama pottery studio in Tokyo. Production of the bells has peaked due to next year being the year of the dog in the 12-year Chinese zodiac. Each bell is about 3 inches tall. About 5,000 are expected to be produced at the studio, located on the side of the approach to Jindaiji temple, by the year’s end.
