Morning visits to Kauai prison canceled due to contraband shakedown
Visits to the Module C male housing unit at the Kauai Community Correctional Center are canceled this morning in order to conduct a contraband shakedown, according to the Hawaii Department of Public Safety.
Visitors have been notified. Inmates in the unit will be allowed extra phone calls to make up for the lost visits.
All other visits to KCCC housing units are still on schedule.
