The state plans to close the Airport offramp from the westbound H-1 freeway starting 6 p.m. next Wednesday for pothole repairs.

The closure is scheduled from 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 6 to 2 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 7 so crews can fix large potholes on the offramp’s concrete surface. Electronic message boards will be posted to advise motorists that access to the airport will be from Nimitz Highway.

Motorists traveling to the airport should allow for extra travel time to get to their destination. Updates from the Hawaii Department of Transportation are available on its website as well its social media sites on Facebook and Twitter.
