Insurance licenses now available free online

The state’s Insurance Division announced today that all active licenses are now available online to print at one’s convenience, at no cost.

“We’re extremely pleased to offer this new online service which has been highly requested from the insurance industry,” said Hawaii insurance commissioner Gordon Ito in a news release. “This is a continuation of the insurance division’s efforts to provide easy, efficient and paperless online services for our licensees.”

Licensees and registrants may print their active licenses by visiting the Hawaii Insurance Licensee Services website or going to the “NEW – Print a License” link.

The new website, created through a partnership with Hawaii Information Consortium, is accessible 24/7 for the printing of licenses as well as renewals and searches and continuing insurance education courses. HIC works with state agencies to enable them to conduct state business online and improve public access to government information.

Call the Insurance Division Licensing Branch at 586-2788 or email inslic@dcca.hawaii.gov for questions regarding the online service. For technical or log-in issues, contact HIC Customer Service at 695-4620.
