Opera, cannabis, concert to pitch Blaisdell traffic crescendo today
Opera lovers, cannabis enthusiasts and fans of hip-hop singer Lauryn Hill all converge at Blaisdell Center today, so the city is advising attendees to plan for attendant traffic and parking congestion.
Starting at 2 p.m., the third annual Hawaii Cannabis Expo gets underway at the center’s Exhibition Hall, offering workshops and speakers. The Hawaii Opera Theatre’s “Daughter of the Regiment” is scheduled for the Concert Hall at 7:30 p.m. and Lauryn Hill’s Special Valentine’s Weekend Engagement concert at Blaisdell Arena at 8 p.m.
Attendees are reminded to plan on arriving early to be seated on time. More information on the center’s calendar is available at blaisdellcenter.com.
