Surfer, 73, dies following rescue at Sunset Beach
A 73-year-old man was surfing at Sunset Beach when he fell unconscious at about 4:24 p.m. Thursday.
Police said the man was pulled from the water and taken by ambulance to Wahiawa General Hospital where he later died.
The case is classified as an unattended death.
