Man, 68, allegedly restrained and assaulted teen girl in Makiki
Prosecutors charged a 68-year-old man Tuesday with second-degree unlawful imprisonment of a 13-year-old girl in Makiki.
Police said the man allegedly restrained and assaulted the girl at 2:20 p.m., resulting in bodily injury to the teen.
Police were called and the man was identified and arrested on suspicion of kidnapping.
The case was reclassified and prosecutors charged the man with unlawful imprisonment. His bail was set at $1,000.
