Woman charged with sexual assault of minor

Prosecutors have charged a 36-year-old woman with multiple counts of sexual assault involving a juvenile.
Rika Shimizu made her initial court appearance at Family Court today after she was charged Wednesday with five counts of second-degree sexual assault. Her bail is set at $600,000.
Police arrested Shimizu at a residence near Kanewai Community Park on Tuesday on suspicion of 12 counts of first-degree sexual assault and 10 counts of third-degree sexual assault.
The assaults allegedly occurred from October 2017 to February.
