Honolulu police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a male suspect who allegedly stole items from an ABC store in Waikiki.

Police said the perpetrator entered the store shortly before 9:45 p.m. on May 21. Surveillance video captured him removing some items from one of the shelves and placing the merchandise in a bag.

When confronted by a cashier, police said the perpetrator brandished a knife and fled on a bicycle in an unknown direction.

He was wearing a green T-shirt, dark colored jacket and pants, baseball cap and a burgundy backpack at the time of the robbery.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call 911 or CrimeStoppers at 955-8300.
