Honolulu Emergency Services confirmed a shark sighting at Makaha Beach on Saturday afternoon.

The shark was described as non-aggressive, 8 to 10 feet in length and swimming close to shore.

Ocean Safety personnel posted signs and warned beachgoers about the shark’s presence.
