Police searching for burglary suspects in Kona

Hawaii County police are looking for the suspects who broke into a building in lower Napoopoo, Captain Cook, in Kona sometime between Nov. 22 and Nov. 23 and stole items worth about $150,000.

The unknown suspects entered a building at Kona Queens Hawaii Farm and stole two white Dodge Ram 5500 flatbed trucks, four Stihl weed whackers, three Stihl chainsaws and 200 gallons of diesel fuel.

Police are asking anyone who may have information about the burglary to contact police at 935-3311 or Community Policing Sgt. Joseph Stender at 326-4646, ext. 259.
