Police arrested a 34-year-old woman after she allegedly ran over two women with a pickup truck in Kalihi Wednesday night.

Police said the suspect ran over the two victims, ages 30 and 27, with a red Chevrolet pickup truck at the 1900 block of Kalihi Street at approximately 7:15 p.m. The suspect then fled the scene.

The suspect and one of the victims are married. Police said the other woman struck by the vehicle is the new partner of the suspect’s wife.

Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene near the intersection of Kalihi and Akahi streets. Paramedics treated the victims who sustained injuries to their arms, legs and torsos.

There is conflicting information on the status of the women’s condition at the time EMS took them to the hospital. Police said victims were in stable condition while EMS said they were in serious condition.

Police located the perpetrator at her home on Skyview Loop in the Aliamanu area at approximately 8:30 p.m. and arrested her on suspicion of first-degree attempted murder.

Officers also seized her pickup truck as evidence.
