Honolulu police are looking for a suspect in a shooting Sunday night that injured a man in Kalihi.

The shooting occurred at about 7:21 p.m. in the parking lot of Sunny Mart, 2215 N. School St., police said. Two men were walking in the parking lot when they got into an argument with several males.

The two groups began fighting and the suspect fired a gun towards the two males, hitting one.

The victim, 23, was taken to a hospital in serious condition.

The suspect fled the scene. He was described as 6 feet tall and 300 pounds. He was wearing a black shirt with “IV” on the front and “Kalihi Valley Homes” on the back and white shorts.
